Your friends and fans love your samplers and I can't wait to see more repros - Love the two I have - just wish I had time to actually stitch them - Melodywoolwomanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15223953682584202192noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8265840800445269059.post-68548263695870847242010-07-30T22:17:17.182-05:002010-07-30T22:17:17.182-05:00When you use the Burger King line, make sure you m...When you use the Burger King line, make sure you mention that you were only in the dumpster because you were looking for half-eaten Whoppers. I would also recommend wearing tattered clothing (overalls?) and some "billy-bob teeth" so you don't look like an expert. Maybe your appearance coupled with the samplers will earn you a spot on their show.Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03575812897318460841noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8265840800445269059.post-71195227949134368292010-07-29T08:59:32.017-05:002010-07-29T08:59:32.017-05:00There is something special about chocolate and ret...There is something special about chocolate and retail therapy to make you feel everything is right in the world;)

Sorry for your disappointment!

-HollyHollyXSinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10215765528595358722noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8265840800445269059.post-54519138944729475532010-07-26T15:25:05.633-05:002010-07-26T15:25:05.633-05:00That is a bummer about the Road Show. I've only seen the British show on TV but it seemed to me that some of the people on there already knew an awful lot of information about their antique as sort of family lore. Then of course there were those that are clueless too.Kiwiflowahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04678213134735013462noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8265840800445269059.post-72218355124166159072010-07-26T13:39:15.562-05:002010-07-26T13:39:15.562-05:00So sorry that the Road Show was a bust. I tried to get tickets when they were in the Twin Cities a few years ago, but didn't get my name picked in the lottery. If they come through, I'll try again. How interesting that they don't want people who know anything about what they have, but I guess that's what makes the show interesting.

Carol S.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8265840800445269059.post-71423654619082598102010-07-25T18:06:19.319-05:002010-07-25T18:06:19.319-05:00Unbelieveable! After painstakingly reasearching a little Weller Pottery vase my gandfather had used for decades to hold tiny nubs of pencils and dried up rubber bands (the man threw nothing away)I paid $25 to go to an "appraisal by a guest speaker" at the local library. She was not too knowlegable about Weller and said it was a nice "folk art pottery piece of US origin, perhaps mid 20th Century worth about $100-$150". It was actually a 1920's piece of well-known American pottery that I sold for $550 to a very knowledgable dealer in California.Jenniferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10949966372643951079noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8265840800445269059.post-84335092741376351002010-07-25T12:45:45.002-05:002010-07-25T12:45:45.002-05:00My husband and I love that program and always want...My husband and I love that program and always wanted to know what it is like to go to one of those shows.
