Men!

Hey, gorgeous. Come to this box often? Why don't you sit down and tell me about yourself?

Mm-hmm. No-no, baby, I'm listening. Continue.

Zzzzzzzzzz....

(P.S. We are considering keeping Dottie -- see my post about Dottie, below. This post was brought to you by Zero, who is quite a man!)

You need to keep Dottie. It's obvious you have a very special connection with her. : )

She is beautiful! I love her color. I got a real laugh out of this, your comments were perfect. I think you should keep this one!

This is actually Zero (the grey cat) in the post. Dottie you'll see in my previous post (and the one before that.) Zero was found a few weeks ago by a man out walking his bulldog (the bulldog found him.) He's a GREAT cat, and I thought it was very funny how casual he was being in this cardboard box.

Zero isn't the best name for this guy; he's obviously a 10 on the cute scale! ;) Such a gorgeous color!

I hope you do keep Dottie. I've been thinking about these kitten posts you've been writing, and how cute the little furballs are. I've also been thinking about how overrun with animals your local shelters are. I've heard people say that they don't 'believe in' spaying or neutering animals because it's 'not natural.' But really, what is natural about euthanizing kittens?!! It's heartbreaking, but I find hope in the work that volunteers / foster parents like you do, Theresa. Thank you for helping these little animals! :)

I think there's a bond between you and Dottie that you don't have with the other kittens and it's so obvious in your posts. She needs you and you need her!!!

He's a cutie, so relaxed and laid back. Dottie would be a lucky little puss if you decide to keep her, she is so pretty and girl like.

Zero is quite the ladies man as we can tell by your pictures! I do always wonder if they are really comfortable sleeping like they do. hmmmm...

Keep us posted on your decision with Dottie.

Maybe one day when my granddaughter is older I will consider fostering as well.I suspect that I will have the same problem that you do and hate having to give them up.

love the photos of the boxed kitty! Can't believe he fell asleep like that.

Congrats on keeping Dottie...you sounded so conflicted in the last post.

Zero, I'm sure you'd rather hear me say handsome, but you truly are a beautiful cat!

You need to keep her. A cat chooses their human and she has chosen you. The other little kitties will find homes but she has found you and you just have to keep her. I love the photos, I always wonder how they can sleep like that.

I agree with everyone else. You need to keep Dottie. I also got a little teary reading Tuesdays post. I don't suppose you would consider keeping Zero, too? He is so cute and seems quite relaxed and at home with you. Hmm, ponder, ponder.

Theresa, I am so glad to hear you are considering keeping Dottie. Just like Wanda said, I keep picturing Dottie being left for adoption and wondering why she couldn't be with her mama. If you do decide to keep her I'm positive you will not regret it! You are such a dear person for helping all these babies, you deserve to keep the special one with whom you have such a special connection and I'm sure she will love you for it forever! The story of you and Dottie has obviously touched so many people, it's amazing isn't it?

Karen said...

Oops! I also meant to say that Zero is absolutely precious, I wish I could adopt him myself!

Too, too funny! What a sweetie. And so at ease! I hope you keep Dottie - I can't imagine how hard it will be to give her up.

I hope things work out for you and Dottie. I think you belong together.

I hope you keep Dottie. You obviously love her and have bonded with her. If I lived closer, I would be checking into adopting Zero. What a funny cutie!

ROTFLOL!!! Wouldn't it be wonderful to be able to just doze off in any position, anywhere - and then wake up with the ability to [be able to move at all] just take a few steps, a long stretch... and then continue on with life...
Re adopting Dottie - I have heard mates with larger families comment that they don't really notice the extra after the forth child - surely kitties can't be any different :)

If I wasn't living so far from you, I would ask if I can adopt him.
