The crud

"The crud" is a term I've learned here in the south.  The doctors and nurses at our clinic use it to describe that kind of vague, yucky illness that sometimes grabs you from behind and drags you to the floor -- coughing, sneezing, fever, etc.

I've got the crud and will be closed today.  The cats are keeping me company.

  1. I do hope that you get over the crud soon. It is indeed an icky proposition! Hopefully Nurse Kitty and her staff will take good care of you.

  2. We've had it here also. Funny is I live all the way out in California and I call it the crud also. My family is from the south though. Hope you are feeling better soon. It sure is no fun.

  10. Hope you feel better soon. Kitties are good company when you're not feeling well - they will soon have you back on your feet!

  12. Ah, the creeping crud! Yes, get well soon. If it's a cold, try Zicam (it's OTC, a homeopathic). Worked for me a couple months ago, and last week for a friend! (No, I have not connection! lol)

  13. I've managed to avoid the crud this year but I sympathize with how you must feel right now. It's not pleasant. Here's hoping that you're feeling 100% better soon.

  15. Hope you feel better soon. I received my packet from you. There were some neat things included, and what I can't use I'll pass on to someone. Glad to see the pics of the kitty play room.

  16. Feel better soon! There seems to be a lot of that going around.

I got my lovely packet. Really great stuff and well worth the money -- not to mention, the kitties are the real winners! Thanks so much for doing this.
